Resumen de La responsabilidad social como factor estratégico en el sector de las Cajas de Ahorro

  Con esta investigación se pretende analizar la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) como variable estratégica dentro de las políticas de gestión que establecen las nuevas entidades constituidas por Cajas de Ahorros, tomando en consideración dos variables de análisis: las políticas internas de gestión y la Obra Social (OS). Se concluye que dentro de las políticas internas de gestión el carácter estratégico de la RSE queda limitado por el alto grado de institucionalización de la práctica, especialmente en la adopción del estándar Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) como mecanismo de consenso para la elaboración de memorias de sostenibilidad. Tal premisa da lugar a la presencia de estructuras sociales isomorfas entre los planteamientos de responsabilidad que diseñan las entidades evaluadas. Ante tal circunstancia, un planteamiento estratégico en la gestión y aplicación de la OS puede derivar en sinergias positivas que incidan directamente sobre el resultado empresarial.

  The aim of this research work is analysing the Enterprise Social Work (ESR) as a strategic variable within the management policies established by the new entities that constitute the Savings Banks, taking into account two analysis variables: the self-management policies and the Social Work (SW). It can be concluded that within the self-management policies the strategic character of the ESR is limited by the high grade of institutionalization of such practice, especially by the usage of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard as a consensus mechanism for the construction of sustainability memories. Such premise leads to the presence of isomorphic social structures within the responsibility scenario designed by the evaluated entities. As a result, a strategic scenario on the management and application of the SW may lead to positive synergies affecting to the enterprise result.
