Latinidad Medieval Hispánica (Hispanic Latinity in the Middle Ages) gathers the selected proceedings of the VI Congreso Internacional de Latín Medieval Hispánico (6th International Conference of Hispanic Medieval Latin), which was held in La Nucía (Alicante, Spain) in November 2013. The book deals with the research results on Iberian Latin from the birth of the notion of medieval latinitas to the diplomatic documentation and medievalisms that cross the borders into the Modern Era. It includes studies of the Visigothic world and Isidore of Seville, translation in the Middle Ages, the Inquisition, medieval scientific Latin, medieval epigraphy, lexicography, diachrony and, as could only be expected in the Kingdom of Valencia, it pays special attention to the phenomena related to late medieval Latin (13th-15th centuries).
