Resumen de La lex voconia y su relación con el aerarium populi romani

En el presente trabajo nos proponemos justificar los efectos fiscales atribuidos a la Lex Voconia por Plinio el Joven en un texto de su Panegírico al emperador Trajano. Descartado que el objetivo fiscal estuviera entre las finalidades pretendidas con la promulgación de esta ley hemos hecho un recorrido por la aplicación de la misma en época augustea, encontrando allí la explicación de sus palabras.

In this paper we propose to justify the fiscal effects attributed to the Lex Voconia by Pliny the Younger in a passage of his Panegyric to the emperor Trajan. Having ruled out the possibility that the fiscal objective was among the purposes intended by the promulgation of this law, we have reviewed its application in the Augustan period and there we have found the explanation for his words.
