La Comisión de Instrucción Primaria de Navarra fue el organismo que dirigió la enseñanza primaria de Navarra de 1838 a 1858, fecha en que como consecuencia de la Ley Moyano de 1857 fue sustituida por la Junta de Instrucción Pública con competencia en todos los niveles educativos no universitarios.Estas comisiones fueron establecidas en el Plan de Instrucción Primaria de 21 de julio de 1838, para ejecutar a nivel provincial la política educativa de los gobiernos liberales orientada en esos momentos a configurar un sistema educativo nacional, uniforme y centralizado.Siguiendo las actas de la comisión vamos a conocer las personas que la integraron, la actividad que desarrolló durante esos veinte años, y las dificultades que encontró para fomentar la...

The Elementary Instruction Committee of Navarre was the first organization to lead the elementary education in Navarre, between 1838 to 1858. After the 1857 Moyano Act, it was replaced by the Public Instruction Council, the one in charge of all education bellow the college line.The Elementary Instruction Plan of the 21st of July of 1838 appointed these committees to execute, at a regional level, the educational politics from the liberal governments, which, at that time, were involved in the creation of an even and centralized educative national system.Through the Acts from the Committee, we will meet their members and their work during those twenty years.
