Resumen de Situaciones educativas en los asentamientos del Movimiento de Trabajadores rurales Sin Tierra

Los proyectos educativos del gobierno de Brasil y del Movimiento de Trabajadores Rurales Sin Tierra (MST) plantean situaciones de conflicto, pues obedecen a diferentes lógicas. El MST ve la tierra como un lugar, sin embargo, el agronegocio, ve la tierra sin gente. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar qué es lo que realmente está en disputa e indagar en las fricciones entre el proyecto educativo del gobierno y el del MST como movimiento social. A tal fin, realizamos un estudio etnográfico sobre las situaciones de conflicto entre ambos proyectos. Los resultados evidencian tres situaciones: el lugar de la educación, la formación de profesores y el proyecto educativo como acontecimiento. Ello nos indica que la educación está un campo social en permanente disputa constituida por proyectos, discursos históricos y políticos en los que los diferentes grupos pretenden definir su función social y su hegemonía.

The educational projects of the government of Brazil and the Movement of Rural Workers Without Land (MST) pose conflict situations, because they obey different logics. The MST sees the land as a place, however, the agribusiness sees the land without people. The objective of this work was to analyze what is really in dispute and investigate the frictions between the government’s educational project and that of the MST as a social movement. To this end, we conducted an ethnographic study on the conflict situations between both projects. The results show three situations: the place of education, teacher training and the educational project as events. This indicates that education is in a social field in permanent dispute constituted by projects, historical and political discourses in which the different groups intend to define their social function and their hegemony.
