  Son múltiples los focos desde los que plantear las expectativas escolares: desde el docente, las familias y el propio alumno. Las expectativas de este último se encuentran condicionadas por las expectativas de los dos anteriores. Pretendemos, en primer lugar, conocer globalmente las expectativas académicas de las familias de alumnado escolarizado en centros de Educación Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria y, a continuación, analizar dichas expectativas en función de la etapa educativa, la nacionalidad de las familias y la titularidad del centro educativo. Existe una tendencia generalizada de las familias a esperar que los hijos alcancen el nivel más alto de escolarización formal y aunque aparecen diferencias estadísticamente significativas en función de la etapa educativa, la nacionalidad de los padres y la titularidad del centro, esta relación se presenta sin fuerza en las tres variables estudiadas.

  There are multiple focuses from which to raise school expectations: from the teacher, the families and the student himself. Generally, the expectations of students are conditioned by the expectations of the previous two. On this occasion, our purpose is, first of all, to know the academic expectations of parents whose children are enrolled in primary, secondary and secondary schools; and secondly to analyze these expectations according to the educational stage, nationality of the families and the ownership of the schools of the sons and daughters. We appreciate that there is a generalized tendency of families to expect children to reach the highest level of formal schooling and although there are statistically significant differences depending on the educational stage, the nationality of the parents and the ownership of the school, this relationship is presented without force in the three studied variables.
