Resumen de Publicaciones complementarias para la difusión de la Historia en educación: el álbum ilustrado "Guernica"

  En el presente artículo se propone el álbum ilustrado, un género particular de libros ilustrados en el que escritura e imagen interactúan a lo largo de la narración, como un material complementario del manual escolar de Historia. Para ello se analiza la estructura narrativa, las múltiples maneras de interacción imagen-texto y el contenido del álbum Guernica. Con el análisis de este álbum, escrito por la historiadora Bernard e ilustrado por el pintor Charpentier, valoramos el potencial de este tipo de publicaciones como material didáctico en educación.

  In this article we propose the picture book, a particular kind of illustrated books in which text and image interact to each other throughout the narration, as a supplementary material to the History textbook. Therefore, three factors were analyzed, the narrative structure, the multiple ways of interaction between the image text, and the content of the picture book Guernica. By analyzing of this book, written by the historian Bernard and illustrated by the painter Charpentier, we demonstrate the potential of such publications as academic education material.
