  La finalidad era conocer qué opinión tiene el alumnado de la Universidad de Sevilla respecto a las ventajas e inconvenientes del trabajo en grupo. Se elaboró un cuestionario para que una muestra lo pudieran contestar; se recogieron y analizaron los datos de manera cualitativa y cuantitativa; y se observó cómo los estudiantes opinan de manera positiva y negativa sobre esta metodología. Este estudio surgió de la praxis educativa y se desarrolló para contribuir a la formación permanente del profesorado universitario.   The purpose was to know what opinion has the student body of the University of Seville with regard to the advantages and disadvantages of the work in group. A questionnaire was elaborated in order that a sample they could answer them; there was gathered and analyzed the information of a qualitative and quantitative way; and was observed how the students think in a positive and negative way about this methodology. This study arose from the educational practice and developed to contribute to the permanent training of the university professorship.
