Resumen de Integrating graphic software: The Making of "M.A.T.E."

• This work describes an experience developed by the Computer Science Graduate Program graphics group at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The goal was to make a short video showing computer animation completely generated with local software. The video "M.A.T.E" has been produced as a result of this effort. All steps in the production of the video are described: script and storyboard design, objects modeling, motion planning, rendering, sound and final production. Some comments about this experience are presented in the conclusions.
