  Este estudio analiza la estrategia económica y social desarrollada por el cabildo de la catedral de Pamplona durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIV, destinada a reforzar su preeminencia en el nuevo burgo que se levanta tras las cenizas de la guerra de la Navarrería. La documentación estudiada, fondos originales del archivo de la catedral de Pamplona, nos ilustra una nueva práctica en cuanto a la gestión de inmuebles que contribuye directamente a acelerar el fenómeno repoblador de este nuevo burgo.

  This article analyzes the economic and social strategy developed by the Chapter of the Pamplona Cathedral during the second half of the fourteenth century with the aim of strengthening their major role in the repopulation of the new burgo or hamlet that was set up after the 1276 War of Navarrería. Our study of the documents in the Pamplona Cathedral archives illustrates a new practice in the management of church properties which actively contributes to accelerating the repopulation process of this new burgo in the city
