    Is it possible to liquefy light? So far, all the theoretical work is based on numerical simulations under the hypothesis of certain non-lineal refractive indices. Unfortunately, the answer to this question up to now is no. The reason is that, even when some materials had apparently the right properties, and the theoretical analysis of these systems were encouraging, the experimental results were later found to be wrong. A brief theoretical description of this issue is introduced in this article.

    É posible lograr “luz líquida”? Ata o de agora, todo o traballo teórico está baseado en simulacións numéricas baixo a hipótese de certos índices de refracción non lineais. Desafortunadamente, a resposta á pregunta é ainda negativa. A razón é que, mesmo contando con materiais axeitados, os resultados non teñen sido os esperados. Unha breve descrición teórica sobre esta cuestión é introducida neste artigo.
